FAQ

opencloseWith a limited event budget, why spend thousands on speakers and performers?
According to a recent survey of organizers and producers, 83% of the total 645 respondents said they consider external speakers and talent the most memorable aspect of an event. Only 17% believe internal speakers have more impact.
opencloseHow much does it cost to book a speaker?
A speakers fee or honorarium* can depend on a number of different factors, including: the type of organisation and the nature of an event (profit vs. non-profit), how far a speaker has to travel, the length and number of presentations required and the demand for a speaker’s services. With our wide range of speakers, we are able to find a speaker to fit any budget.

*Additional expenses such as travel and lodging are not included in the honorarium.

opencloseDoes it cost more to book a speaker when using a speaker’s bureau?
No, the speaker’s bureau is paid by the speaker, not the client. As a speaker’s bureau (not a booking agency), we actually know our speakers personally. This means that we know each speaker’s preferences and the factors that can influence them to be flexible in their fee requirements. These factors include the type of organisation, audience or event, the location of the event, and promotional opportunities for e.g. book sales, just to name a few. As we work with speakers on a daily basis, we are able to help you save on travel by tying into their existing travel plans.
opencloseBut in a tough economic climate, aren’t speakers and performers a luxury item?
Absolutely not, when an organisation is feeling the pressure that is when it has the greatest need to inspire its employees, tap into its leading thinkers, communicate the strategy, reward achievement in the face of adversity – and provide a little comic relief to demonstrate true appreciation of its people.
